So shorten the 1st and reverse to about the same length. That will change the neutral back to the same spot. I will try it

Got the motor in the car 1941 ford 59ab motor with offy 400 heads 3speed column shifter and the rod for 2nd &3rd gear hits the back side of head. The lever is cast so I don't think I can bend it? I...
