As a teenager 50+ years ago my A was so hard to turn! on ice I got stuck against a curb. Putting it reverse got out and pushed it away from the curb jumped in went home. I removed the steering column...

Something else anti-freeze will kill, spark plugs, the spark plugs will not work after getting anti-freeze on them I’ve been told.

The after market repop is too stiff and too long, I cut it shorter just passed the firewall, put it into the junction box and thread it into the dizzy no clamp. 3 turns in the dizzy!

Running with the choke pulled = fouled spark plugs , clean and gap or replace plugs
Setting for a couple of months = corroded points , clean and gap points
Cold starting set GAV 1/2-1 turn open,...

I just put the spider on and switch, I used some really good duct tape installed in an X pattern, did I mention really good tape! Over the switch and down the side of the wheel.

Read your spark plugs, black sooty to much fuel, white to little fuel. Over choking on start up would also wetness, I pull the choke for a couple of turns and release.

Clean the coil wire socket, and the wire ends! I had a boot on the wire that goes into the coil, out of sight out of mind.
