What makes value?

While looking at Bring A Trailer auction site I noticed the PU listed in the link below. It sold for 20K a few months ago. On the same site there are other complete PU's that sold for around that...

Re: 41 Ford Convertible Top

I don't think that was the one I had. I will say that I think from the looks of things, you are the right owner for it. You are doing great work bringing it back to life.

Re: Rattletrap

In the 70's we ran on the beach at Ormand Beach, FL. Good times and a nice wide and dry beach!

I guess I'm not the only one who looks to see where the post is coming from. It just adds depth.

Re: 41 Ford Convertible Top

Hey Dan, just how rough was your 41? I sold a really rough one many years ago that went up north and just wonder if by chance it would be the same one.

Re: go buy a new/rebuilt one

My Grandfather would have loved this post. He made a sign that he proudly placed in a prominent location at flea markets that read: "Use it up, wear it out, use what you got or do without"!

Re: Preparing for the end.

Hey Ronn, a relative passed away not long ago and just before he died his son was visiting him. He told the son upon his death to look in the 5 gallon buckets in the garage. I think the son looked...

Re: Blue Ribbon Restorations

I don't know when the "fine-point" restorations started for the Model A's but I think it is a very good thing for the hobby. Of course most enthusiasts are not going to go in that direction but it...

I work for a major trailer manufacturer that makes car haulers among many other styles. We are months behind in production. I see almost on a daily basis a brand new dually pickup pull in to pick...

Greg, a "Participation Trophy" isn't that kind of like a "Best of Show(ing up)" trophy? :)

Re: Preparing for the end.

Good morning everyone,

I was going to jump back in last night but thought I would let it run until this morning. I must say that you have given me a lot to think about and a lot to get started...

Preparing for the end.

No, I'm not a Prepper but I have been thinking a lot lately about what my wife would do if I died un-expectantly. My cars and stuff have been in storage for most of our married life (44 years this...

Re: Curious about NOS sheet metal

My early 30 Rdst. PU has NOS rear fenders. I believe they were bought at Hershey in the early 70's. I can't remember how much my dad paid but I still remember the writing inside the fenders and how...

Re: Help With Part I.D.

I'm in the process of restoring my 36 Fodor and I don't think that part goes to a 36. I would hold onto it and see if you come up short in the end but I'm really doubting it. It could be worse, you...

Re: Torque Tube to Differential Seal

Sorry for the delay and lack of pertinent information. My car is a 36 Fordor Deluxe.
And thanks for the information. I will try and install new gasket by splitting it at the top.

Re: 1935-36 Luggage Rack Length Difference

Well, now you have me wondering which one I have. I have never had it on my car so will measure it if you would like. Hopefully someone will have proof of what goes where.
