Re: Assuming Electrical (No power to Starter or Car)

Ok -

Checked and cleaned batter connections. Getting plenty of voltage off the battery all the way to junction box. Checked Coil is ok giving off 1.6 OHMS.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Dropped oil pan - findings / question

Ed - I was thinking the carburetor might need to be looked at. My last resort was to pull and clean it.
2. I can tell you I checked for exhaust leaks and I am good there.
3. I did retime the car...

Re: Oh man. Now I can’t even get my A to start or make a noise.

I’ll try that.

It spun freely when I had it out. Not I can’t even get it to do anything.

Re: Oh man. Now I can’t even get my A to start or make a noise.

Engine will turn with crank. However that’s all it will do.

If using the starter-nothing I mean nothing happens when I hit the starter. No sound or anything.

Also I have an Alternator.

Dick - check the connections and cleaned them up as well. Still nothing.

Oh man. Now I can’t even get my A to start or make a noise.

Re: No Start - Loud Pops

Dave - sorry but what tool do I need to check the points?
I’ve heard that multiple times but don’t know how to do this.

I’ll check for leaks in the meantime.

Thanks.
