Lol, no, it's a 1935 model 51, i have a 48 V8 flathead though. thanks for the info will check it out.

I have a 1935 Ford model 51 V8. Where can I get a set of bolts to mount the engine to the bell houseing? Also, should there be a gasket between them? I have not been able to find one for sale. Thanks

I hear you, these are in so tight and the metal on the screws is soft. Time for the torch to try and loosen it up.

Have the frame out. Soaked the four screws and they are stuck. Tomorrow will have to try some heat then the drill. Do all four screws have to come out on both sides to split the frame or can two on...

It's the model 51, 1 1/2 ton. So this would have a 3 speed? Only asking cause I don't know much about these and the company I bought it form said it had a 4 speed.

I have a Ford V8 flathead I want to put in my 1935 Ford model 51. The heads are marked 59 AB and have the cooling hose mounts/holes in the middle of the heads. The bell housing has a 59 raised on it....

1935 Model 51 tires?

Stock on this truck are 6.50x20's in the front and 7.50x20's in the rear(dualies). Do I need to keep this same arrangement or can I run 6.50x20's in the rear as well?

Ok, relooked at the motor. The block has a raised 59 above the flywheel and the heads say 59 A-B. Can't get picks to attach. Are these stronger motors than the earlier models? I looked at the oil pan...

The engine is marked 59 A-B and it has the crab distributer behind the fan blade on the front of the block.
