Well thanks guys. Punched a leather piece one size bigger and pressed it in. Tight fit this time. Learn something new every day. Now to just pull the distributor and remove the old pad. Jim

Thanks for the responses guys...I did the same, bought 1/4 inch heavy leather and then punched the proper size. I know the leather kinda just set in there and i just glued it in. Worked just fine...

I want to glue a new leather pad on the vacuum brake plunger. What is the best glue. Cant remember what i used last time, but the leather fell off after only about 3000 miles. thanks for any help

Top Wood used, but serviceable

1930 Standard Coupe. Its all there. Not sure if its original, but i think it is, accept for the header, which is kinda funky. I would say header needs replacing and the side rails are partly gone...
