They do make a alternater that looks like a generator called power gen co. I have used one for four years, along with the new logo lights. people are actually blinking there lights at me at night.

generator/alternators

I bought a generator/alternator that worked fine for a while, and then it jumped to 10 amps and did not go back down to zero after the car was running for a while. Any ideas?
