I was wrong. The short piece I need go's above on windshield header behind the mirror to connect the 2 garnish moldings. I was thinking it went ON dash and w/s wiper switch went through. So now...

Thats pretty much my plan. Was hoping to find a junk ws moulding,cut it to length and drill hole for wiper. I agree, by the time I finish mine may show up

Thanks for your feedback guys. If I remember correctly mine was more like woodiewagon46 style. DAMN, I put this piece somewhere where it would not get lost! Now its lost!

Cant find my small piece of molding on top of dash between two window trim pieces. Wiper motor switch go's through this. Anyone have one? Email, comried123@msn.com

There were lights in glove boxes in 46-48 Fords and mercs. Look at wiring schematic for these years. Beneath the wire for clock and above pillar light switch there is the "Glove Compartment Light"...

Hmmm,thought for sure there is a light in glovebox. Had a 46Merc that had one. Also,when you open door to glovebox there is FORD switch(simple contact) that opens and closes when you close or open...

The glovebox in my 46 is missing little courtesy lamp. The switch/wire that lamp plugs into is still attached to dash. Cant find and not sure what the piece looks like that holds the bulb into the...

Rebuilding radio for the 46. Been told I should switch to a solid state vibrator. Where do you find them. I can find the original ones but nothing solid state.thanks

AHA!! 1 1/32 is on side of bowl. Ok guys, these appear to be in excellent rebuilt condition with all parts present. What would be a fair price? Sounds like I would have to use offset generator setup...

Thanks Sal! Without markings its hard to know what they are. I hear about Strombergs used on later Ford dual/tri carb set ups and thought someday I could always try it.

I will have to take a closer look at the accel pump tomorrow. Looking for carbs for 46 Ford, wondering if these would be a good match. No idea what year these are or model #,will look into tomorrow
