Yes, my first car (a '56 4 dr. wagon) had the T Bird emblems, w/a 292 from the factory. - F F

Yes I remember the Thunderbird emblem in 1956, but I didn't realize they used the V8 one for the 272 equipped cars. Learn something all the time on here.

^^^^ It also has a 1955 "V8" emblem on front of fender. Love the colors!
Those 14 in. wheels & caps look pretty good on there, too. IMH.

Actually, I love a lot of things about the '59 Ford, one of their best designs ! IMHO

I have always read that the recession was in 1958 , and that car & truck sales across the board were down quite a bit .
