You ought to be able to find a hose fabrication shop in your area that could make a replacement utilizing your original fittings..

I used the fog lights as turn signals on my Model A when I had it. They're on my 40 now and will be wired up this wiinter after the whole car gets re-wired.

I doubt it. I would take a plastic mallet and GENTLY tap it side to side............Gently.

Jeez guys, all you need is an open end wrench. Torque the other nuts, put an open end on one and try to tighten, now take the same force to the one under the dist. There were NO torque values when...

Radial tires flex more on the sidewall than a bias ply tire. Hence the difference.


Seal the wheels and go tubeless. JMO

Replaced the starter sol and all is good except it won't start. I may have "fried" the electronic module.

On the original thread it was determined that the starter solenoid was shorted. Installed a new one today and it turns over normally. Hooray.


It won't start, I may have "fried" the electronic...

When I did mine I used short machine screws and painted the heads black. You don't notice them.

Thanks for "hanging" in there for me. The sol DID work when originally put in a week and a half ago. Just a bad one or could something have caused it to fail??

Yes, same solenoid,button on bottom, same part #.
V8COOPMAN: It shows continuity. Re-ordering today (2, just in case).

Yes,the engine turned over. Disconnected the starter button wire at the solonoid, still turned over. It's a new sol from Joe's.
