Talking 29 Phaeton "fatman" conversion; finally more room!

Finished the steering wheel conversion to allow for more room and comfort for a big guy (6'1" 230#)

Okay folks, the plan is in place, the steering wheel is done with very little problems. Removed the center spline hub (my '29 does not use the Woodruff key version wheel) had a flat (no dish) 14"...

F100 steering box

Thanks go to Randy Gross who supplied me with his F100 steering box. I had a serious Death Wobble and the new unit cured the affliction!

The F100 box works as advertised, was complete and "easy"...

The DEATH WOBBLE is GONE!!!! Thanks to a new Randy Gross F100 steering box, new wishbone retainer, wheel balance, front alignment, and general tightening the problem has been solved.

When I go over a bump, my '29 Model wobbles and shakes significantly and continues to do so until I come to a full stop. What causes this???
