Just buy a book and your good to go or not. Now thats an idea write a book how to do it in the 21st century. Should be sell out quickly.

That style oil pan is an excellent platform to build from for a competition application.

While Dale has written about the best way to do this being the dry sump idea. I can tell you from first hand experience a correctly designed windage tray would benefit the flat head.
