Thought I would post a follow up on my mirrors, I took Blockhead and Ruths advice and went with the 5" round mirrors. As Ruth pointed out there is more surface area with the 5' head and yes, it makes...

Thanks Ruth, that's a very good point, perhaps a 6 inch head with convex on the passenger side...??? I need to see some different size heads so this ole head can make up it's mind!

Thanks Chris, I have seen some 50's Chevy mirrors that are rectangle but as described by "Ruth" the 5 inch round has more viewing area. Still looking.....?

Thanks Katy, I have several truck stop fuel stations in the area that i am going to check out to have a hands on, my guess is "bigrigchromeshop" would have a better price though

Mike I did a Barn Searce and found this picture of a "V8 Style" side view mirror.... looks like it could be better with a 5 or 6 inch head on it, perhaps a convex on the passenger side. My thought...

Any one using a rectangle side view mirror? I think they are about 2.5 x 5 in.
If so how is it working for you, how did you mount it and where did you get it. These stock round mirrors just don't...
