Re: Brake drums

Re: Pre load
Thanks to all for your thoughts on this. I'm getting the impression that pinion preload leans a little more to art than science. Tom, I went back into the archives (which I should have done before...

Pre load
I'm in day 3 of installing my Mitchell overdrive (by myself!). It is going very well. Paul Shinns video has been very helpful. I welded up a homemade spring spreader but just used it as a safety, I...

Re: Mitchell O.D.
I'll probably have Steve ship the $100 one with the O.D. Not much in the scheme of things considering the savings you get by ordering direct from Mitchell. Besides, I'll have a loaner on hand for...

I bit the bullet a few days ago and ordered my Mitchel O.D. Steve and Cyndi were super helpful. They are still 12 weeks out on orders but I know it will be worth the wait to cruise a little...

Re: Registration process in North Carolina
All good thoughts , thanks. The one thing I hadn't considered was what Ronn and Jim said about keeping the AZ plate. I do hate to give up that real copper plate and just hang it on the garage wall....

I think I could make this work if I could find a 6v fan motor. Are there any sources for one about this size?
