Sooo Funny!!! and yes the foreign dudes that assembled the thing for the picture got the hook in backwards. Would work fine once reversed, but the ones I've seen have a cast serpentine shape...

I tried searching for this but Mr. Google doesn't seem to remember the JC Whitney/ Western Auto gadget that clamped onto a stretched cable to 'shorten' it. Probably got outlawed. Seen them on the old...
