I heard once from a old timer that the engine turned the flywheel and the wight of the flywheel moved the car. I dont know if thats true but a interesting way to think about it.

I did that on my model A once, stock 6V batt and generator and my lights got REALY bright and blew out both headlights and tail light. So it might be ok to do it just dont have any lights on...

Thats cheating ,lol:D In my '39 I have a quadrajet with stock peddal, ugly as hell a Qjet on a flatty but runs great. I will try to get some pics later today of the linkage

I would find someone able to patch the area bigger than that is riped out with new steel. If it cracked there enought to break off I am sure there is other cracks in the piece that came off and...

I always just slober plenty of grease on both sides of all the leafs and wrap it in electrical tape. works great and the tape keeps the dirt out.

From what I understand they had late headlights. But know that I think about it the truck had '28-'29 headlights on it but the guy said that he really needed to keep the headlights and I didnt want...
