A lot of people recommend an additional ground cable to the transmission housing. If you have that then you'd have to do it at the starter, correct?

After cleaning it all off, you can see it looks like little dimple marks were impressed on the spindle all the way around. I ended up rubbing it with emory cloth and was able to get the new one on....

The valve cover on our 1930 car has an extra tube that looks like it might be an additional oil return tube. Has anyone seen this before or know what it is?
