Re: Laminated Timing Gear
I’ve been trying to replace my timing gear all day with no luck. Going to aluminum, got offset tabs lined up, timing marks line up but or some reason I cannot get the new gear all the way on the cam...

Re: A few timing gear questions
Having read all theses posts, how in the world would it be possible to find ANY timing marks on either gear with the radiator in place? Can’t even be seen without a radiator blocking the line of...

Re: Leakless Water pump
Is it ok for “its own level” to be nearly a gallon below the radiator cap neck. Filled radiator to just below the cap neck and put on about 30 miles. Checked the next day before another excursion and...

Re: “A” won’t start…….no spark to plugs
Basically took all advice from you all and started over. Rechecked connections, reset points, retimed, checked rotor gap and the spring tab on rotor top. Hit the starter and off she went. Could have...

Re: “A” won’t start…….no spark to plugs
Don’t mean to sound rude but what exactly am I looking for at the rotor and the distributor contact point. Both are new but I understand that todays “new” doesn’t always mean they work as they should

Re: “A” won’t start…….no spark to plugs
Thanks. Did your test. Had a nice blue spark at the points but when I put the coil wire to a head bolt, the spark wasn’t blue but more orange in color. Nice audible spark though just not blue.

Re: 28 A CCPU Seat securing issue
Would like to add photos but can’t seem to figure out how to do that. I see no tabs, flanges, bolts, or other protrubances attached to the seat cushion. The seat base (riser) is metal. It has 2 round...
