Clevases or the cross shaft should be about vertical when the brakes are applied so the starting point is before verticial ,Front clevas I prefer them to be about 30% forward as a starting point...

You can adjust the rod threads by varying the pedal to cross shaft length that's in the battery box ,so you are aiming to have plenty of thread left ,the car I pictured in last thred had run out of...

I believe the B-80498 slotted rubber pad is to stop the arm from rattling, modern cars have a spring loaded clip here ,

If you over fill it will flow out until it finds it comfortable high 2" downs about right ,if it goes lower you have a problem Gasket or blocked core ,Ted

On 34 pedals I used 2nd hand king pin bushes reamed out to the next size this should work on 32 cross shafts as well ,new ones are available .

Just saying yi know ,The metal ones are for ones with no trunks,this dosint look as good as Kpars ,but not that difficult to make you need a folder though ,
