With a Mitchell you will probably still have a floor pan clearance issue, especially if you have a rumble seat.

Got my Diamond Backs through Discount Tire, same price as ordering direct. They mounted and balanced them plus you get free flats fixed.

I have found many stock relays with as much as a two volt drop on the output going to the solenoid, due to bad connections inside the relay. If you remove the cover you will see that all connections...

Also if you install a Mitchell overdrive, you should vent the axle due to much shorter torque tube between the banjo and the Mitchell gearbox.

30-31 Roadster seat question

I have new seat springs from Snyders and the backrest spring has a taper on one edge. Does the taper go on the bottom where the seat cushion meets or on the top towards the package tray?

Will it work with the horn cover off, if so, check the length of the screw that holds the cover on. If too long it will short out the brush holder.

Put a Mitchell in it and the bearing problem is gone, plus you have overdrive.
