I measured the hub on my '41 Merc Town Sedan and it is also 3 5/8" as above. Puts the front edges of the six blade fan approx 7/8" from the radiator core.

I looked at two clutch discs I have...both used. Both of mine have the springs below a straight edge laid across the disc facing. One is about 1 mm and the other over 2 mm. No way will...

I agree. I also still say that most flathead overheating problems can be cured with a properly functioning clean radiator.

The lights on the fenders are "parking lights" and don't work with the headlights on.
7" sealed beams are still available at auto parts stores but may be halogen.

If your engine has an oil filter you could remove the hose from the inlet side and hook your pressure tank to the end of the hose. That will put oil in the same place as the sender port.

That old beam type wrench is likely to be the most accurate and repeatable choice. I build diesel engines every day for a living and use modern torque wrenches because they're quicker,have audible...

If you have the trans in gear and rear wheels blocked so they can't turn, and are turning the crankshaft while pushing the engine back against the input shaft...that's about all you can do as long as...
