I have one in my 255 french flathead,2 holley94 on weiand intake and mid porting job,i love this cam ...engine sounds killer and has the right power....

Hi..i'm in the way to put Ford t5 on my potvin powered flathead,,and i see that there are other ways to put the shift level forward,,,a remote lever mechanism is the right way,in a mustang web page...

Hi Bruce ..i test the car without screens for a short ride ,just to warm up the engine and i have a positive response....seems to run better ...hope the weather is good in this days so i can drive...

Hi Bruce..that's the first time i do this thing...i'm searching to set the internal advance on a Mallory dual point in my 8ba.....i use a allen head wrench...is 0,144 wide in the flats,,,looking on...

in the top of carbs i have screens and scoops,,,,screens... no filters ,i don't think they can be restrictive...i can test without that screens but in this way in the carbs can enter a lot of...

yes ...time ago when i rebuild the old 97 i try that the base of accel. pump was worn and i put a new one on....the other carb is new...

Camshaft grinders in los angeles area?

yes i'm running the b4l ngk.....engine goes around 180 deg......now accelerate very fast and haule ass!:cool:....i think all the changes make that difference....sure the hotter plugs help the engine...

brass float and fuel pump changed.....i put 0.69 power valves and 41 jets....now the engine runs very well!!

Well ...today i open the old 97 and that's what i try ....the accelerator pump is damaged....and the brass float has liquid inside...that's the other parts i need to change inside the carb....

first test with the ngk b4-l plugs....engine fire up at the first attempt and seems to run good...no time to run on the Street cause is raining....i start the engine without ballast now....coil...

that's a test that i never do before...so i put the old carb in my bench work ...rise it and than pump fuel inside carb?

Well...today i tested the coil and i try 2.3ohm on the primary and 8300 ohms on secondary , i have a 1.6ohm ballast in the circuit...meens that in this way i have a weak spark so i should change that...

yes deuce i have just ordered ngk b4-l plugs that are a step hotter than the b6-l that i use on the flathead....now i'm ordering .043 - .041 jets and power valves....thanks

i agree Jack....with this intake new plugs the engine needs about 10 minuts to worm and run fine....but when is worm the response is good.....by the way i have the plug problem before i put this...

carbs are 97s big logo on a navarro racing intake.....one is new made in uk....

42MERC....your friend took away the screens...but what use him for air filter?only the scoops without protection for carbs?thanks for the interest..!
