Ring gear replacement

When removing the old ring gear, after heating it up, do you tap it forward toward the engine or backward toward the transmission???

Front Axle

I need a straight front axle, don't necessarily need wishbone, spring perches, etc. Hoping I can find one in Minnesota so I can pick it up.

I need to repair my rear spring perches that have worn through.

Somewhere I remember seeing a procedure where you cut a section of steel tubing and weld it inside the old perch.

I am trying to install a Float-A-Motor. The spacers for the rear engine mount seem too long. The installation diagram shows them going through the rubber pad and the frame, but the nuts will not...

Clutch Question

Is the throwout bearing press fit to the hub? Or do I just have some 80 year old grease that make the bearing feel like it is press fit?

When mounting a model A engine to an engine stand, which bolt holes should be used?

The crankshaft sticks out so far in the back that it is proving difficult to get solid mount to then engine...

Worn rear spring perches

My rear spring shackles have worn themselves completely through the bushings and well into to the spring perches on both sides.

Does anyone know how to repair the perches????
