Question Turn signal problem

Indicator light does not flash, but is faintly glowing all the time! Turn signals work as expected when lever moved.

Kit from Snyders had wire with horn button contact end installed.

The issue of distributor shaft rubbing on the gasket is something did not consider since the shaft seemed to be free ...

Problem resolved! Wire and resistor deliver 6.1 volts to the wire detached from the coil!

New Problem: ‘39 stalls when it gets warm; restarts after 5-10 min and good until temp back up. Before stall, usually at stop or low engine speed, it may sputter a bit (inconsistent).
