The long nuts on the backside are a stop for steering linkage, with the long nuts on the front you may get oversteer and lock up the steering.

My engine rebuilder said to put 1/2 of a vile of stop leak in the radiator, helps to seal the head gasket ! I didn't have a leak or seep.

Form the curved section to fit, the diagonal flex with the side panels probably normal. With the hoods open and a gust of wind catches the hoods can and will warp the hoods.

Now that you have overfilled the radiator ! leave the cap off, start the motor, look in the radiator for bubbles, if you have a thermostat watch for it to open, burp burp and then coolant flowing....

DO NOT spray WD-40 in/on the upper bushing under the steering wheel, it'll swell the bushing making the levers to hard to move (maybe your problem now?)
