The car drives jerky when using the clutch from zero speed.
I can do a quick check via the inspection hole but probably need to remove the engine to do it correct :(

National Bodies for Ford cars
Hello,
Found an add for a speedster body kit that is made for a "T" and the name on the radiator badge is "NATIONAL BODIES FOR FORD CARS". Should be made in the twenties / thirties.
Any info on...

Chassis preparation Model A 1930
I wanna build a chassis with the intention to use it in Time Trials/rally's etc.
Need some advise on what preparations to make.
Stay with the original suspension? Lower it?
"Z"ing the chassis?...

There is only an "A" in front of the number.
So its an USA made Model A but I can not find the number.
Its gone!!!!!:confused:

I'm searching for the chassis number but I can not find it.
The engine number is from march 1931 but I wanna know if the engine "belongs" to the chassis.
Is the number always on the leftside on top...

I started cleaning the frame and need to replace the front crossmember.
Now I'm checking the part suppliers on the web but can't find the correct crossmember like the original.

I work all day with computers and that is a big source for info but (for me) nothing beats a good book!!!

As I mentioned in my "newbie" post I picked-up a bunch of chassis parts.
All on a pallet and as I can see it is compleet (almost).
I'm an experienced mechanic but new to the Ford Model A...
