Re: RH Drive Model A

Re: Headlight bulbs

Re: hange in Evaoprust formulation?

To remove any oiliness from the cooling system before using something like this, drop a couple of dish washer tablets in there and go for a drive. I've seen laundry powder used but it foams up so...

Re: How to clean the rust & crud from the engine without running it through the radia

Holeee Heck, they don't even put a price on it! I've learned to stay well clear of shady places that do that.

Re: Stromberg 48

Lawrie, I've seen mention of what was called the Big 97. Sounds interesting
You know the towing and touring requirements. I am basically searching in the dark. Which way would you go and what...

Re: An interesting idea regarding cylinder heads.

I saw this idea posted on one of our club's Facebook page. I can't see them ending up any cheaper for the driver than buying one from the dealer who brings stuff into the country by the container...

OK, Jim knows what he is talking about so I'll widen my search to include a 97. Are they single or double venturi?

Stromberg 48

I have been running a Stromberg carburettor from an early Holden engine for years but I've recently learned that a Stromberg 48 would be better. I have never seen one here so I'm turning to you guys...

Re: Water pump "studs"

I have had to do it twice. Once was a failed bearing. I used one of those over the counter "leakless" pumps and a ball bearing gave up at a bad moment (is there a good one?) I have since given up on...

Re: Water pump "studs"

I have used those "studs" on my Model As in conjunction with repro fans. There have been a couple of occasions when I have had to replace the pump roadside. I was pleased that I had them and not the...

She's a petite little thing! I make her about 5"1 or 2" tall. That is still taller than my wife though.
