I have an engine that was rebuilt by Richard (Rick) Knight back when he was still doing that work and it is a terrific, great running engine. He had a very good reputation as an engine rebuilder...

I had one quit about 15 miles out of Kanab, UT last October. I don't know what went wrong with it but you can find it in the desert out there about 20 feet from the road. :mad:

John, you didn't answer this question. I have always done the alignment (setting the toe in) using an alignment tool like the Ideal tool that was mentioned. I have an original Dubie alignment tool...

Snap On and MAC obstruction wrenches - cylinder head wrenches

This is the original Snap On "obstruction wrench" that you need to re-torque that cylinder head nut that is under the distributor on your Model A.

The vendors also sell a cheaper repro like this...

I purchased my Model A radial tires (19") from Coker Tire. I bought the radial tire inner tubes from them also.
