Thank you, The headlights turn off with the headlight switch. But tail lights stay on right when the battery is connected.

Truck started and Running BUT

Hey you guys,

I’m trying to figure out why my headlights and my tail lights have power to them when the battery is hooked up but the ignition is not on. That will eventually kill my battery....

I tested the battery straight to the aftermarket ignition and the coil Terminal gave me 12 Volts.

I didn’t ran a new wire dedicated to the coil from the original ignition switch terminal. I got...

Hi guys,

I’m looking to replace my ignition switch. I need to get 12volt to the coil. The old switch is only allowing 5.6volts.

Crazy wiring coloring. But the yellow and black needed to go to the power of the headlight Green and Black. So I got that part running.

Now to the High Beam switch strangeness: click it once...

OK I got the turn signals working and one of the headlights, the driver side. But when I hook up the passenger side light, it does not turn on. So that’s the next step. Then I’ll check the brakes....

42-47 Light Switch

Guys I need an assist,

The head light switch on the left center:

“R” for the instrument lights and rear lights - is that the fused connector or is the fused connector “P”

Thank you, I did that yesterday and discovered some connections that were disconnected, and the main power to the circuit breaker was not wired because it didn’t show in the instructions.

That’s right, it goes on the key way but it won’t go on enough to catch a thread.
I included the previous picture before changing out the distributor. And the current look with the keyway.
