Re: removing oil sludge with syringe?
Are you guys cutting off the tabs that go under the rear main cap cork seal? It would seem you would have to in order to put the gasket on the pan first rather than sticking it to the block then...

Re: How to installe metal glass channels?
If you have wrinkles in the corners the rubber is too long. You need to put it on the glass, hold one end while pulling the rubber tight to stretch around the glass until there are no wrinkles, then...

Re: front brake issues
Could there be a build up of crud behind the adjuster causing it to not back off far enough? I would remove and clean and the adjuster and check the threads making sure it backs off all the way. If...

Re: Front tires cupping
All tires front and rear tend to cup due to braking. The rear tires however will wear more evenly because they have rotational force in both directions, they brake and drive which evens out the wear....

Holly/Zenith carb
We have a couple of Holly carbs that neither have the secondary well in them. The hole in the body is not threaded and is to small in diameter to install one. Does the Holly not use the secondary...

I'm in the process of trying to remove sealer from a motorcycle tank that was sealed a few years ago and is now dissolving and coming loose in chunks. I don't know what brand sealer was used, but it...

Re: Front axle problem
Looks like early AR style grease baffle that is on backwards with the wire spacer to allow newer non AR style hubs to be used. Without spacing out the hub it would rub on the nuts. I recently...

Re: Changing from early brake drums to late drums
It looks like the grease baffles are different. The new hub does not fit inside the old style grease baffle, it doesn't allow the drum/hub to go all the way on. The newer style must have a larger...

Re: Recieved title and sold it
I think Tom is correct around about 1-1/2 times value. The bond as it is called is basically an insurance policy payable to the state if problems arise. If there are no issues the only money moving...

Re: Turning a brake drum
I thought they should probably be installed, I was hoping to at least check if it is round then go from there. I will install races and spin it to check if it's out of round first.
Thanks
