Yes, could make not burn fuel and run poor. But too much fuel wont burn with a stock well maintained A ignition either.

A bad condensor for the ignition typically wont make the carb leak fuel.
Is the Needle in the carb good, clean and supple? They can get hard over time and not seal against the seat properly. You...

True that kids have much less mechanical ability today than of years past. However, to think that a HS dropout working at Jiffy lube for just over minimum wage is a mechanic is your own mistake....

FlatheadTed=most of roys stuff is very close to what Ford used. I assume you are talking about a truck bed set of carriage bolts?

I feel that if the bolts are in good condition with only the cosmetic coatings in poor shape from road use, there is no reason to replace them. For instance, a car comes in with a leaking waterpump,...

We use Roy Nacewicz for most of the hardware needed on full restorations.
But for simple repair work on regularly driven cars, we often media blast the nuts/bolts and have found some of the carb...
