My A spits out of thee radiator cap until it finds it own level. I remember the first time this happened to me I was very concerned. Turned out it is normal.

The oil and gas filler caps MUST be vented. Get a Model A oil filler cap from one of the Model A parts distributors. You may consider getting the kit that direct the oil mist under the floor board....

I have a 4 post lift. I have put all my vehicles up on it including a tractor. Mine has locks (as I believe most do) to prevent it coming down due to loss of hydraulic pressure. I love mine.
