I doubt the hose is the same. The radiator location for the 41 pickup with 6 was different from what came later. It may be similar to 41 car with 6, but I doubt the same.
Can you use molded rubber...

I don't have pictures of World War 2 era blocks. Instead I'll post pictures of two blocks damaged by hanging them only from the thin cast on bell housing from modern engine stands. I'm not saying...

Here are the LB pictures. I realize I don't have a picture of the main bearing stud spacing (looks about 3 1/4 when measuring center to center with your tape measure or scale), which is my go-to way...

Allmost 59 marked blocks are equivalent. The exception is the over the counter replacement blocks cast with the smaller 221 motor size bore of 3 1/16 inches. All the speculation about different...

The one on the left is stock 37-41 (11A marking on the back of the shaft indicates 41).

The one on the right has 32-36 guts installed with the earlier points.I have done this trick a few times...

The beginning of the piston part numbers, 99T, are 239 truck pistons. The beginning of the rod part numbers, 48, are starting in 35 production for the earlier flanged rod bearings. Interesting...

Nice car! I really like stock, black, blackwall tire, 38 Fords.
You have a Chandler Groves / Holley / Ford carburetor, model 94. It uses the same style main jets as all the common Holleys still sold...

Beautiful looking car. I'd swap the headlights back to stock (you can even get repro parts to do that these days, maybe they fit well...). I wonder if it goes on display or gets sold to raise funds...
