Re: Flathead Adjustable Lifter question

I’ve got a question about the 1/8” hole I the lifter bore. Inserting a Allen wrench to hold the lifter does that work on the newer type lifter that isn’t hollow but has shallow depressions?

8ba engine

I’m rebuilding my first flathead. I have a block with a stock bore, no major cracks. Will be boring out .030 .060 stock 3.75 stoke. Who ‘s pistons should I be looking at?

Re: I'd like to start a new thread on the components used in building a flathad

As I mentioned I’m working on a 8ba. I’ll be boring the block .030 to .060 stock stroke. What would be a good cam selection? I’m thinking of putting this in a 27 coupe.

Re: I'd like to start a new thread on the components used in building a flathad

Could I get some more information on the angle milling on the heads? Like angles ect. I run a Bridgeport at my work. I might be able to squeeze a job like that in on a Saturday. Steve
