I don’t know what year it is but the Merc pan I have has a rear sump, windage tray and a bracket that bolt to the starter plate...Steve

I’ve got a question about the 1/8” hole I the lifter bore. Inserting a Allen wrench to hold the lifter does that work on the newer type lifter that isn’t hollow but has shallow depressions?

8ba engine
I’m rebuilding my first flathead. I have a block with a stock bore, no major cracks. Will be boring out .030 .060 stock 3.75 stoke. Who ‘s pistons should I be looking at?
