Paul spent hours in my shop and we did exactly what you have suggested. You can't see everything in a one minute video.

The first time it was checked was with the "shipping studs" and nothing...

I have a few sets of Edelbrocks on back order and I'm an Offy dealer. The price has gone through the roof on the Offy stuff and I want to have a few of the Edelbrocks on hand when they follow suit....

Very nice! My Dad built a Pietenpol back in the 60s (used a Continental A-65) I still have the plans and thought of building one someday. Car engines in aircraft scare me a bit but this would help.

No worries, not pointing fingers. Just saying it saves trouble in the long run.

Just so happens I'm building a six like yours right now, only took two months to get pistons from Egge.

Well I read through this and see that a remedy has been found. I will add that we extract tools that have been broken off all the time although it would be easier to fix if the customer didn't try...

Did you rebuild the rocker assemblies? a worn shaft will make the rockers hard to adjust because the rocker wont always reat in the same place. Also tip wear can be a problem. Rocker shafts are...
