Re: Bolt buster /induction heater

I don't have a ac/dc welder nor a torch to heat up frozen parts, so I purchased one (a year ago.) It definitely works well and I'm glad that I have it.

Re: 34 coupe seat slider latch

You asked for some basic dimensions. Here they are, taken with a caliper.
This bracket is from my '34 coupe. Notice that the base of this floor bracket is angled. Should it be straight?

Re: Frank Miller

I'm deeply sadden to say that Frank passed away Monday morning.

In true Frank fashion, he's asked that a car show be held as a celebration of his life. For those in the area, it will be at the...

Re: Frank Miller

I will be visiting with Frank this evening and I will share with him all of your kind words. I'm sure that Frank will appreciate it and thanks for sharing. And I will probably hear a few stories........

Re: what was your first car and how much did you pay

In 1974 I bought a 1964 Chevy Malibu 2-door equipped with a 283 and powerglide transmission. Paid $300. Mileage was in the mid 50k.
It was in good condition but in 1977 I was rear-ended by a new...

Re: How many of you are doing total restorations?

Been nibbling away at 3 total restorations (if I'm allowed to count a bowtie on this forum.) In hindsight, I probably should have bought drivers and slowly sorted them out over the years.

Tom, Well, at least you found a shop willing to do the work.
I plan to take another '34 radiator and one from a '55 Chevy to L/A Radiator in June. I guess that I'll phone them and make sure that...

First time that I've heard of Waldron's Exhaust. Thanks. Web site looks nice.
The crush bends in the pipes are what we have come to expect today. Curious,...does anyone make exhaust pipes today...

Re: Safety of old tires

Never made it. Annual inspections do not look at tire codes.

L/A Radiator in Maine built a couple of 1934 cores for me that turned out identical to the original. Ask for Richard. L/A Radiator may get parts for cores from Maine Radiator which is in the town...

I watched the episode. Car was not sitting outside for 60 years, it was last registered on the road ~60 years ago. And they couldn't say where or what had happened to it since 1958, the date on an...
