Jimnnn, I think that Prestone concentrate , if tested with a good tester, will show that it will be good to past -60*F. However, it is not recommended to use it straight without some water mixed...

Most anti-freeze is sold as a pre-mix 50-50. and is good to about -35*F. If you want more , or less freeze protection, you can buy straight non mixed antifreeze and mix it to your desired freeze...

I have heard, or read somewhere that the '57 chev wiper motor could be adapted, but I could be wrong. I would probably go with the newport motor. all the "bugs" have already been worked out for you,...

That is an FE Eng. not y-block. '58 first year for FE series. probably a 332 C.I. if it is the original eng.

make sure to check the bore to make sure it does not need bored. It probably does, but if not you will still have to hone it. you will have to have a machine shop do the bore job and have them fit...

I had a 52 Ford 4dr. with the 215 back when I was about 18. we put a dual carb fenton intake manifold with 2 glass bowl holly carbs on it. that 6 with 3 on the tree would out run most all flathead...

an 8 volt battery is a patch for a problem. not only will the bulbs burn out faster, if you want the 8 volt batt to stay properly charged , you will have to adjust the voltage regulator .

you can not tell if a condenser is bad by looking at it, the only true way to know if it is bad, is to replace with a known good one. this does not mean a new one, as most of the new ones are junk ,...
