Re: question
I guess I should explain. The way Ryan talked about Charlie NY, and anybody who agreed with him, was disgraceful! I don't want to support, in anyway, somebody like that! Ryan Cochran is a...

Re: Identification help for Ford rearend
It's probably a Dana 41. I think that is what Ford used in the first couple years of production of the F series trucks. I have a '48 that has a Dana 44 axle but I'm shur it has been changed. Looks...

Re: Engine temp rises when I get to cruise speed
Beware of aftermarket fans and shrouds. I bought a '51 Ford that had a aftermarket fan and shroud plus air. The air didn't work. I removed the air and left the fan and shroud thinking they would help...

Re: Edelbrock manifold
I had those little chrome pots on it. When I made and installed that big air cleaner I could tell a difference in performance. I think it's running a little lean so I'm going to change jet sizes.

Edelbrock manifold
Can someone tell me the model no. or name of this manifold. Any opinions on the performance improvement? It runs very strong on the engine shown. It is a 276ci.

Re: High hp flathead build posted 20 hrs ago
As to those little chrome air cleaners, I replaced mine with a homemade air cleaner and noticed a lean condition afterwards. Haven't fixed it yet. Will have to go up a few jet sizes.

Re: Changing Intakes and Carb
I agree with Sal as I'm running a 1.12 on a 302 with no problems. I was told that a 1.12 was only 600 CFM. Is that true Sal?

Re: Holley 4150 carburetor development history
Does anybody have an opinion, good or bad, about the Ford 4100? I have used them and I'm impressed with the performance and reliability. I have one on a modified 302 in a Ranger and the performance...
