'31 pickup rear fender filler panels

Hello folks...
Okay, I admit I am lost.
I am attempting to figure out where the filler panels get attached to the fenders.

Re: Need a copy of body mounts for 47 coupe

Ralph, I'd done a concourse restoration on a '46 coupe a few years back and like you, was forced to cut open the rockers to access the caged nuts. Not too bad when the body was on the rotisserie...

Re: Removing caps on '37 hubcaps?

It can be done :)

The "after restoration" photo is overexposed. Rest assured the blue V8 is much darker in real life.

Re: Removing caps on '37 hubcaps?

I actually carefully tape that area after the first coat of paint has been applied.
Place the stainless cap on a suitably sized plastic bucket with a thin towel draped over the edge to install the...

Re: Removing caps on '37 hubcaps?

Re: Door mechanism Washers

I don't believe so.
External tooth or internal tooth lock washers are available for certain but both, again, I don't believe so.
Do you know the ID and OD of the washers you desire?

Re: 1936 Ford Cabriolet Top Boot

Many, perhaps most, were destroyed.
Keep in mind that LB had patterns for not only Fords, but MANY makes and models.
A loss to history for certain.

I miss Dickie too. He's been a wonderful source of help though the past twenty or so years for me. Especially all things that make sparks :)

Re: Adjustable Lifters

Ron, The last set I got from Red's had three of the sixteen that were dead soft. I am so glad I had the sense and means to check them prior to installing.

I'm not 100% certain but do believe the wheels were dipped painted. Dave? What say you?

Re: 1929 Ford Roadster Pickup

A great opportunity to teach. The option is to not take advantage of that opportunity and let "a lot more people" walk away remaining ignorant of the facts / truth.
