Upper steering column bearing replacement

I have a '40 coupe with a 65-66 mustang era steering column. Upper bearing is going fast. Wondering if a replacement can be driven in on top of old brg???

These STS things are placed inside your tailpipes,are not the middle block baffle. They are supposedly tuneable to achieve whatever sound you are wanting. Take the hard "rap" outta the straight...

STS baffles are made by "Spiral Turbo Specialties" they go into your exhaust pipes and you don't need to use a muffler/packs, supposedly (they say) they are tuneable. Look neat.

Has anyone tried the STS exhaust baffles on a small block? I gotta do something about my 289 exhaust, packs are burnt and sound ratty. Was wondering if STS's would work????

Thanks fordy, When my guage (VDO) reads 1/8th I can only ut 11.5 gallons in so with 14 capacity seems that seems OK.

DON'T use impact! Soak it good with PB Blaster or equal for a day or 2 then tighten up your puller as hard as you can then rap it soundly (like hard) with a brass hammer and it'll come loose.
