I got a sender from Joe's Antique auto instructions stated good for 6 or 12 volts. Works ok stays on full for long time when it gets to 1/4 hope I have comfortable walking shoes. I think I messed up...

You are indeed. Apparently both grill parts fit each other and a few monarch left the factory with merc grill bottoms

Just a quick question. Do 6 volt halogen sealed beams draw more power than regular sealed beams.

Got mine at Napa the guy there said all 6 volt are the same size???. I would ju bring in the hold down top and. Maybe a bolt for length

I had one on a 48 pontiac center had a bracket that bolted to center widow frame ends fit in drip rail and small sheet metal screws

When I got my 47 drove it for a summer no issues the next summer I flushed the rad hard to believe the crap that came out of engine. Might want to try that

Hagarty is a good choice. They specialize in antique car insurance. You state the value they tell you the cost it's a negotiated insurance for your car not blue book value.
