Re: Cut off HAMB again????
Are you using Chrome or something else more up to date? I like to view the vintagefordforum.net and can't unless I am using Chrome.

Re: Misery loves company
Remember the TV show, Touched by an Angle? There was scene where Roma Downing says she picked up someone's car keys and he couldn't find them. Well, angles pick stuff up in my garage all the time....

Re: Pictures of trunk
Can you put it out in the sun and get some better overall pictures. What you show are really too close to get a good idea. Do show photos of it all opened up, just not so close, please.

What did you order and how much did you pay for it, maybe someone else will want it. Or just send it back.

Re: Engine install
I also have an 8ba in a '36. Just in case I ever need to pull it, what clutch plate and disc did you use? One for an 8BA or for a '36?
Also, how are you cooling it? I had to put an electric fan...

Re: YOM License Plate Frame
If you find a source, put me down for two. This would seem like a great idea for the EFV8 foundation to add to their inventory. 12 1/2 x 5 3/8

Re: 1936 bumper black line
I am going to use 2 part primer and 2 part (not 2 stage) black paint only because I have it left over from other projects. Otherwise I would just use ACE gloss black oil base paint.
I also used...

Re: 36' coupe, dual wiper removal, tips?
I have one of Drakes electric motors I'll sell you. I removed it and went back to vacuum wipers because I wanted dual wipers and it says right on the box that the electric motor will not power dual...

1936 bumper black line
So I just got the bumpers rechromed and with all of the polishing, the recess for the two black lines are no longer well defined. Anyone have an original bumper that they can measure the width of the...

Re: 1936 Ford Pickup - Commercial vs Passenger
I like that '36 passenger pick up, but how was it made? Was the cowl removed from a passenger car and put onto the pick up cab? Somewhere I seem to remember seeing that that cab was actually not...

Re: 1939 pedals
I converted my '36 to hydraulics. I used '39 pedals, what a pain. Certainly not a bolt-in. And the '39s do NOT line up with the holes for the original '36 pedals. I also have dual exhaust, which now...

Re: installing a 37 steering box in a 36
How tough was it to install? Was your engine out? Mine engine is still in and I am afraid if i try to remove the exhaust manifold with the engine in, I will break the bolts off.

Re: '36 spare tire cover seal won't fit
I was able to get it in. I inserted the larger round edge into the grove. I put the small flap towards the center of the cover. I used lots of vaseline and a wide screwdriver and pushed it. It took...

Re: '36 spare tire cover seal won't fit

Re: '36 spare tire cover seal won't fit
The thin side is way too thin, it would take something twice as thick, and both sides are very solid rubber, I would need vice grips to crush the thick part enough to get it in.
Monday I will check...
