I’ve heard aboutbgreasing the gasket...can someone explain that to me? Does it let the gasket move a little before settling and sealing? Just seems strange to me...

I use a warn 2500 or 3000 lbs capacity, I'd have to double check the size but it works great for me. I use it to pull my dead A into an enclosed trailer, not the fastest thing but I'm not in a hurry...

I had it happen to me. Granted not sure if it was really due to lack oil in my case...had a blown head gasket and also the crank pulley broke on me so the water pump wasn't turning. I got lucky...

Interesting...maybe the baffle was installed incorrectly before? And the over flow tube does extend past the baffle about a half inch or more. I don't have to constantly add water but my grandfather...

Quick question....had my radiator rebuild a little while back, looked great and didn't notice until later the way the baffle is installed I can no longer see the tubes. Makes checking the water level...
