If the seal has worn a grove in the axle housing it can be spaced out a bit to find a better spot for it.

I don't know about 'sportavia', but I stayed a week on a very nice 'dude ranch' in Montana in 1958, at absolutely no cost to me, it was great, horseback riding, watching a dog-retriever show, etc. ...

Stand in front of a mirror, seal your lips around the fitting on the gauge, blow hard while watching the needle in the mirror. You should be able to blow enough to make the needle move, that's all...

It also could be a Cyclone for the flathead Ford 6. We used to run against one in a jalopy, ran good too. In those days 4 and 6cyl. jalopy engines could run more than 1 carb, etc. Us 4-bangars...

It varies depending on the brand and material. One site I checked said 16.877cc's @ .050" and 20.253 @ .060, another 17.474, I use 20cc and figure that is close enough.
