Yes. $125 each for block and crank, $200 for both. Crank might clean up at .010, will for sure at .020.

Thank you Mart. I determined long ago that the tie rod end tapers are 1.5" per foot, which matches your 1/8 per inch figure. So there's a real good chance the axles are measured the same way. That...

I wanted to be sure to kill any rust left in the water jackets(chloride ions in the pits and all that), and also wanted to clean the exterior of the block so to finish the job I dunked it in...

Before and after. The before is after the TASC cleaning, and looks WAY better than before any cleaning. I did clean out the jackets with long screwdrivers and pressure washing to get all the debris...
