Re: Need help I.D. Luggage box

Some of these luggage trunks were aftermarket accessories, not specific to any make and model, designed to use with the fold-down trunk racks on many '20s and early '30s cars.

Re: Heater Question

Agreed, it's aftermarket. There were dozens of brands of these aftermarket heaters, all pretty much the same thing once you get past cosmetics. Some have a fancier and more decorative housing than...

Re: 1938 Heater Installation for 1 1/2 Ton Truck

While Ford didn't offer a hot water type heater until '39, there were many aftermarket brands out there, and plenty of '38 and earlier models had them installed. I think Rich may be talking about...

Re: !!!Aftermarket Seatbelts My Bad Experience with RETROBELT USA (AKA TRUBELT)!!!

As for the heater--even the correct Ford heater was a dealer installed option, most...

Re: 39 or 40 pedal assembly question??

The reason for the difference is that '40 cars came out with column shift, and the clutch linkage had to be redesigned to avoid interference with the column shift linkage. As others have noted, the...
