i was stationed in Alaska in the fifties and put a blow torch against the oil pan for 5-10 minutes to warm up th eoil to start it.

thanks for your replies, i will try to remove the rubber lining from one of the sleeves and see if i can get the bullets in and then electric tape or heat shrink tube. think i bought these from drake...

Just put one of these NOS harnesses on my 38 and can say very, very, very frustrating. Never did get it just right. Should have built my own. Been fooling with flatheads for 65 years and this task...

I restamped the frame on my 38 and was surprised on how hard I had to hit the stamp, really had to hit it. Used a lead hammer.
