In my 31 pickup i put piece of 2" angle across between the frame members and bolted it in with the frame mounting bolts just at the rear of the seat
and used those bolts to mount the outside...

On my tudor I went to a junk yard and got the drivers seat out of a late 90s Saturn
and with a little modifing IE making it narrower and some welding of brackets it fit
nicely with no modification...

On my 31 I removed the seat back spring and put in a piece of 1/4 plywood
with a piece of one inch foam rubber and tacked the upholstery to the plywood
this gave me an additional 3 1/2 inches. And...

Back in the 50s there was a Ford dealer in Croswell Mi that I could buy genuine parts
for my 29 tudor that he still had in an attic store room, mufflers, brake linings, dist.parts
etc.

There was an article in the Secrets of Speed a while back showing one with engine

What year ?? On my 31 I bought an aftermarket door handle with lock from Snyders and
installed on the drivers door and it works fine and I don't have to crawl over the seat to lock and un lock.
