I had our local glass guy replace my left rear quarter window. He did it very quickly and I thought $50 for cutting AND installing it was very cheap.

While chamferring, lightly run some 600 grit over the shoes and brake drum to remove any junk that may be on there.

I was able to seal a gas tank on my dad's military jeep with JB Weld. It was still there when he sold it.

I use just plain Rustoleum silver spray paint on my exhaust manifolds. It does not burn off.

I agree with rotor. My avatar '50 has a 302. Same shape front end as '49. 6 bladed flex puller fan. No shroud. Never ever heats up-not even a needle width on 100 degree days. Wonder if there is not...

GM.......you are exactly right. All I really know is that the one I have now is not breaking down-yet. I was told my NAPA "good" coil was made in Mexico and even then it is cheaper for them to...

Hi Paul..........why not use a battery disconnect and get rid of all electrical worries when the car is not in use? A friend of mine had a battery tender go south on him on burned up his vehicle....

Maybe try Michael Jones, Obsolete Ford Parts Co., 229-686-2470. I just got some new trunk lid hinges from him-another hard to find parts for my avatar.
