I hate to say it, but 4 doors are not in demand at all...the swoopy 3 windows and 100 point restored ragtops have decent resale...Look on ebay, offer low..Nice conv LZ's sell in the 40s...sedans more...

My 40 has wide tooth design, I would guess it is later design with wider teeth
quicker quieter engagement..I am always cautious when shifting to allow easy low torque
engagement of mine, but...

I am confused, I have similar banjo in my 40 LZ, the tapered axle mates to drum, 100lb
torque fit, the backing plate has an oil catch cup surrounding the big seal, located in the drum...no seal on...

Hi guys, I have successfully used skips wonderful pumps
on my 40 LZ v-12, and just like V-8, they have oilers--
Do new design pumps with probably sealed bearings need
oil??

6 Volt systems have welding cable diameter cables, much thicker than 12, chk cable starter to solenoid--thick , tight and clean...batt to sol same thing...12 volt cables will
work but not well, esp...
